'allo 'allo, look who's dropped in

Two "unlucky" BASE jumpers were arrested soon after leaping from a city tower overnight, after they landed just metres from shocked police officers on a regular patrol of the city.

Police in Sydney were driving along George Street near the intersection of Liverpool Street about 3.10am when a man in a parachute landed a short distance from their car, police said.

A short time later they watched as a second jumper landed on the other side of the road.
