I knew that before mobile phones Nokia produced all manner of things including car tyres but this is the first time that I’ve actually seen one.
It was one of two spare tyres on a Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire 360. The car was introduced in late 1951 and was sold until 1958.

My dad used to work for a wholesale company where some of the main products were Nokia toilet paper and kitchen paper/towel.
They had a large paper mill in Finland and I believe the mother company was called galaktius or something similar.
Later, from the rubber enterprise, there was also Nokia branded rubber boots/wellingtons.
Through the 90’s you could get (quite good!) Nokia CRT monitors and TVs.
It reminds me of Swedish Husqvarna, who’s made motorcycles, sewing machines and sub machine guns - now mostly known for lawn mowers and chain saws.
Diverse companies for sure….
