Throwing elbows, punching in the back, tripping, hair pulling, kicking into someone’s face and sucker punches? Sounds like a typical scrum between young siblings. Well, in the 2009 MWN semifinal match between BYU and New Mexico, there was no lipstick, no perfume and no fingernail polish. There was, however, good old fashioned chick fighting.

but you’re right that football (real football, not handegg) is the most popular game in the world, and C’s boorish opinion definitely places him squarely in the minority (at least i think C is a him; he doesn’t seem to like women at all, though, so maybe “he” is actually a heterosexual female and finds female soccer extra-boring because there are no masculine buttocks to ogle).

So you speak for the world? Interesting, do you spell for the world as well? If so, the word is “disagrees”. I’m not at all surprised that a person of your skill level would be a soccer fan. The highlights from an average game would probably be perfect for someone with your attention span.

A large batch of people could watch paint dry and find it interesting; that doesn’t make it a sport. I like women just fine, your Mom was excellent as a matter of fact. If I wanted to ogle women I’d find a venue that was meant for ogling, like beach volleyball. Now there’s a sport!

LOL! so now you’re gonna go on record as saying that football isn’t a sport at all? i could agree if you were talking about NASCAR or something like that, with a sport-status that actually is dubious, but if you want to insist that football, the single most popular spectator sport on earth, is not actually a sport at all just because *you* don’t like it, then go for it, because all you’re doing is making yourself look like a fucking mouth-breathing moron.

which is probably what you are, since you felt the need to go with that 4th grade “your mom” shit (my mom died in 1982, so i guess we can add “necrophiliac” to “mouth-breathing moron” and “heterosexual female”).

(and you’re not fooling anyone by pretending to like beach volleyball. you already admitted you don’t like women. if you do watch beach volleyball, its probably because you’re just checking out the players’ outfits.)

but seriously, go ahead and name *one* spectator sport in the world with more fans than football. just one.

I love football, just not soccer. Of course this is my opinion, and getting people worked up on comment boards is one of my favorite things in life. Of course I don’t really know your mother you loser, that’s implied since the board is anonymous. Maybe you know a bunch of people named phardt, and that’s where you got your clever nom de plume from. I really couldn’t care less what you think about my sexuality, that’s the beautiful thing about comment boards like this.

So what if tons of people watch the sport? That doesn’t make it a quality sport. You just admitted that NASCAR sucks ball, which I agree with, but it too has tons of fans.

Can you honestly admit that soccer is action-packed, and has stats that are actually interesting? How many games end in a 0-0 tie? Then the whole game just played is thrown out the door and they resort to the shootout? At least when they use a shootout in hockey it’s after the two teams have spent time actually playing in interesting game.
