    I had saw the pics before but have gone back and looked at them in a different frame of mind and yes Maciej has taken some very good photos, he has a knack for capturing a moment in time.

    Have you noticed that there are lots of men peeing in the pictures, but no girls peeing? I think there should be some pictures of girls peeing. I’m sure some of you girls reading this share my feminist concern. To guys reading, we girls pee outdoors just as much as men, contrary to popular misconceptions and gender stereotypes. Yeesh!

    Hi again. As an example to prove my point in my earlier post, I have peed in the street on a night out numerous times. Often I was drunk, and had to pee really bad, so I just found a corner, squatted and peed. On more than occasion I just wet myself. I am generally open about my peeing, but I think girls in general look to see if anyone is around before dropping their skirt and knickers (Or whatever they’re wearing) to pee. That is the only reason I can think of as to how this rather strong misconception started that guys are the ones who go for casual outdoor peeing. I have seen other girls pee myself, so I still retain hope that a picture will feature a girl peeing. I you have such a picture, you might wanna upload it. Thank you.

    what a credit to the photographer maciej, he really captured what it feels like to go out on a saturday night in cardiff! the photos show everything. puke, scum, police, hassle, booze, piss fast food , drunken nights,backsides, atmosphere, girls ,more puke and piss and scum and violence everthing that makes a great night out in cities all over britain and ireland. super photos! thanks

NO OTHER COUNTRY on earth has young people with such little SELF-RESPECT and AMBITION that they go out and behave like this whenever they get the opportunity. Ever wondered why the UK has the HIGHEST TEENAGE PREGNANCY rate and the LOWEST UNIVERSITY GRADUATION rate in Europe? “Great” Britain??? What a joke! The UK has been overtaken by every country in the EU and increasingly by the Asian countries too. Bangkok is already 10 times more liveable than London and improves continuously, whereas London only declines in quality of life. And the provincial cities like Cardiff are even worse, apart from being intensely boring, which is the one thing that can’t be said of London (in its favour). I live like a king in Bangkok on a quarter of what it would cost in London!

    What’s up with those people and that society? That culture is fucked up. Clue train to Cardiff council. Install bigger bins. Look at installing more public toilets (self cleaning variety). Introduce draconian laws to curb establishments from serving obviously paralytic patrons further alcohol. (heavy fines) Can barely stand? No more drinks for you. If you want to drink to oblivion, purchase grog and have at it at home.

    Those people are an embarrassment to themselves. I’d refer to them as peasants but I’m pretty sure that even peasants have more class than these clowns. Britain. Give yourself a collective uppercut. You deserve it.

    Officially it is illegal to sell alcohol to some who is drunk in the UK. Just that big business politicians are in bed together and turn a blind eye whilst profit is made. It they took away the opium of the masses (in this case alcohol) it would probably cause a revolution at teh way the government screws the nation.

    I work in a Cardiff hotel and these images just concur to what I see coming through the doors on any given weekend. Bedlam, funny and disgusting at the same time. I am a bit of a hippo crypt though.

    First of all can I just say to Stephen, Cardiff is in Wales, not Scotland?!

    Moving on, it’s hardly fair to be so judgemental of the people in the photos. Yes it’s disgusting but Cardiff if hardly the only city where scenes like this are seen every weekend. And I’m pretty sure the statistics show that Cardiff isn’t the worst area for binge drinking on the weekend, but then am hardly an expert.

    Also to the people who assume just because some of the people pictured here are fat means that everyone else in Cardiff is fat, did you ever think that maybe some of the better looking people didn’t get in enough of a state to get caught in these pictures?

    There is a crazy amount of rubbish in these photos and to be fair to Cardiff Council you don’t see any of this rubbish the next day. Credit where it’s due, considering the scale of the mess it’s pretty impressive stuff to have shifted it all by the next day. The trash in the pictures tends to be localised anyway on St Mary’s street where most of the clubs and the infamous chippy lane is located, hence the scale of rubbish.

    Yes it’s disgusting but don’t judge Cardiff by these photos. That’s all you have to do is avoid town centre on a Saturday night.

Never been to the UK myself (apart from a transfer at Heathrow), this only substantiates stories heard/read/seen, but I must say these pics look like it was after a public rally or a free concert or something, with all these crowd control fences?     My mates girlfriend pissed herself last weekend waiting for a taxi in Cardiff……I’m talking a whole bladder full down the jeans and over the street! Then the taxi drivers wouldn’t give us a ride. She wasn’t even that drunk – that’s the problem when girls try to keep up with blokes and drink pints.
