Jessica Gil Ortiz is a gymnast representing the great nation of Columbia (or should we say Colombia? haha) at the Gymnastics World Championships. You know, that sporting event which legally allows you to check out underage girls wearing skimpy and tight outfits while bending themselves into impossible sexual positions. Jessica Gil Ortiz had to do a floor show (without a greasy pole) when things went ass up during one of her flips.

and colOmbia is an insignificant country. if it disappeared tomorrow, i doubt the world would even notice. so who the fuck cares how it’s spelled?

but how’s this deal: as soon as your gymnasts can stop falling down on their faces like drunks, then everyone will start spelling the name of your country correctly. until then, go piss up a rope, you equatorial bastards!

GUESS WHAT? American gymnasts fall too. So do Romanians. So do the Chinese. Every gymanast you have ever heard of has fallen like this at least a few times in her life. So it makes no sense to try to put Colombia down because one of their gymnasts fell in competition?

People are so ignorant and idiotic about gymanstics. I wish that people who had no clue about gymnastics would simply refrain from trying to have opinions about it, because every time you guys open your mouths about gymnastics, you look like morons to those of us who actually know a thing or two about the sport.

I am appalled by the disrespectful & vulgar response to this young girl falling -it could have resulted in a broken neck and total paralysis!
also, the gymnasts are not excellent from just going on the mat and trying – they have put many hours of practice from a young age.
I am only on this site because of my enjoyment of gymnastics and concern for Jessica Gil Otiz!
This ATTU writer should grow up clean up your attitude and writing also learn a little or a lot about what you’re criticizing before you put your “foot in your mouth”! I am so disappointed! very shallow
