At the age of seventeen Malin Akerman won the Ford Supermodel of Canada search. After a career in modeling she turned to acting and now resides in California. Next to acting Malin Akerman is also the lead singer of a rock band named Ozono, who later changed their name to The Petalstones. In 2000 Malin Akerman made her film debut with a small role in The Skulls.  Fans of Malin Akerman who would like to see her in a more recent film should go and see the film adaptation of Watchmen.
