We got some revolutionary news, that will change the world of music.
Okay people: stop downloading, and stop buying music. In a few years this is really history. Why should every person in the world own a cd collection, or a harddisk with mp3’s when there are servers and internet?
In the nearby future you don’t own music, you just select the songs you want to hear on a streaming device that connects to servers containing all the songs ever made… and you pay a monthly fee. All musicians will be payed again because it is exact what song is listened to, and you, you got all the music you want! You personalise by selection.
The first people that have seen the light are the producers of TouchDiva. These Danish manufacturers claim to have “agreements with the four major music companies in the world (Warner, EMI, Sony-BMG and Universal),” giving them access to over 2 million songs. You pay $ 13,- each month, but the device still is a bit expensive ($1100,-). But that will change soon. And after all, there are lots of people spending that amount of money -or more- on buying music each year.
So put your cd collection on eBay! And be quick!

Hasn’t Napster been doing this for years? Also the expensive device is your computer. Fortunately, the computer does other things than stream audio. Crap idea.

No I think this is great, download and store is ancient tech, you don’t have to store stuff that you can listen to directly. I think this is a great new concept, if you can’t tell the difference with downloading free stuff you just don’t see the big pic.
I know everybody downloads, but in the end it is stealing. So you let other people pay for your music, by buying cd’s that are to expensive. This way you pay a small bill for the music you listen to, the artist will get their money and it will not be illegal anymore.
I get it, but I see DruKe and Josh clearly don’t…
