Three Torrington residents arrested for public sex

Three city residents were arrested Thursday evening after they were found having sex in public, police said.

Mindy Lomento, 41, 347 Maplewood Ave. 2A, and two roommates, Gregory Wanklin, 34, and David Perry, 23, both of 66 Woodbine St. were charged with public indecency and related charges.

Police saw Lomento and Wanklin having sex in a wooded area between Migeon Avenue and Church Street. A concerned citizen reported seeing Lomento and Perry engaging in sexual relations before calling police.

Police said the parties were acting consensually and no allegations of sexual assault were made by Lomento or the two men.
