   LOL at “honkey”!!! i haven’t heard that word in decades!! did it come back recently, and i’m just out of the loop?

   and just to weigh in, i don’t think beyonce is hot either, but it’s not just because she’s black, it’s because she’s black trying to look white, and i think that’s lame. what happened to that hot “black power” look from the 70s, when the chicks celebrated their blackness, with afros and african clothes and all that? why do all the so-called “beautiful” famous black women nowadays have to be all fake-looking, with caucasian hair?

   seriously, i’ve known some very gorgeous, very hot black girls, but they didn’t try to make themselves look white with weaves or wigs or colored contacts or skin-lightening or any of that shit. and their naturalness and comfort with their blackness was a big part of what made them attractive, imo.

   when a woman spends a ton of time, effort, and money trying to hide who and what she is, then what does that say about her self-esteem? i like women who are proud of who they are, not ones who act ashamed of their race. i’d take a nice brown-eyed, fluffy-haired, chocolate-colored black girl over a bleached-out and bewigged fake like beyonce any day of the week.
