"Germany's Number One Male Vocalist", David Hasselhoff, has left US audiences rolling with laughter after belting out a song on America's Got Talent.

The Baywatch and Knight Rider star, who recently won custody of his teenage daughters Hayley and Taylor, probably mortified the pair with his rendition of This Is The Moment to an audience in the millions.

Hasselhoff has remarked that the role his music played in bringing about the downfall of communism and reuniting Germany has been largely unrecognised.

A beaming David Hasselhoff said Friday he had won a long-running battle with ex-wife Pamela Bach over custody of his two teenage daughters.

"The judge said, 'Enough is enough,' " Hasselhoff said outside court after a hearing.

Bach and her lawyer, Debra A. Opri, declined to talk about the case as they left the courthouse, saying they were prevented from doing so by a court order.

A judge says he wants to give David Hasselhoff a chance to prove that he is not drinking before ruling in the actor's custody battle with ex-wife.

A court hearing on primary custody of their two daughters was postponed Friday because Hasselhoff's lawyer was ill. Superior Court Judge Mark A. Juhas rescheduled the hearing for Monday afternoon.

The judge said he wanted the former "Baywatch" actor to have a chance to show that he passed an alcohol test conducted Friday morning.

Hasselhoff is under court order not to drink.

A judge has restored David Hasselhoff's right to visit his two teenage daughters after that access was suspended over a videotape showing the recovering alcoholic apparently intoxicated, an attorney for the actor said Monday.

Lawyer Melvin Goldsman made the disclosure before the start of a closed-door court hearing concerning the videotape and related issues.

Hasselhoff, 54, and his former wife, Pamela Bach, 43, both attended the hearing but neither provided details after it ended.

David hasselhoff can't help himself. The Hoff is drunk again.

Hasselhoff, who was not in court for the hearing, admitted last week that he'd struggled to overcome alcoholism after the videotape emerged showing him on the floor, struggling to eat a hamburger as a young female voice urged him not to drink.

This guy has the singing voice of a woman who's really a man. Once you listen to his albums, your life will change. His voice is so strong that even America couldn't handle it. When I saw this movie I almost jump out of a window from pure excitement. He's acting is so good in this movie, you honestly can't tell that David Hasselhoff is playing Nick Fury, even though Nick Fury looks like David Hasselhoff wearing a damn eye patch.
