Photography has been a passion of mine since joining the Peace Corps in 2001. I was placed in a village in Burkina Faso, West Africa, where I taught science at a high school for two years. I was overwhelmed with the beauty that surrounded me and photography was a great creative release. Since then I have continued to combine photography with travel.
