   but if you absolutely MUST cry like a baby about it, why don’t you find an appropriate post to comment on, instead of randomly trolling? seriously, what do eight people on a motorbike have to do with OH NOES OBAMA IS A SOCIALISIM OMG!!!11..??

   oh, and it would also help to use punctuation in a manner that makes your comments actually coherent. and also, if you’re so concerned about socialism, you might want to think about learning to spell it correctly, so that someone somewhere might take you seriously someday (don’t hold your breath— or better yet, do).

   Dude, don’t take someone to task for punctuation and grammar when you can’t even capitalize the first word of each sentence. The best way to combat the empty-headed nonsense in this world is with intelligent discourse, and yes, Anonymous is a flaming douche bag.

   i CAN’T capitalize? how about i CHOOSE not to? you know, because i use capitalization for emphasis, since this is the internet and i can’t use vocal inflection, and italics are a hassle?

   don’t be a tool, C. my not capitalizing sentences in no way detracts from someone’s ability to comprehend my meaning. anonymous’s failure to use standard punctuation and construction, however, DOES detract substantially from his comment’s legibility— i had to read it several times before i realized what the hell he was trying to say. and i used to teach 9th grade english, so i’m very well-versed in the art of deciphering incomprehensible gibberish. for anonymous to give ME pause, with all the awful writing i’ve been able to slog through over the years, says a great deal about how incoherent his comment is.

   also, i graduated summa cum laude with a university degree in english (straight As, beeyotch), so don’t talk about how i “can’t” capitalize. i’ve got more knowledge of capitalization in my fingernail clippings than you have in your whole family. and if i want to be an asshole grammar cop and “take someone to task,” then i will, because, as it so happens, i am eminently qualified (in all pertinent areas, particularly the “asshole” part). so put that in your straw and snort it, bub.

   and when you get a chance, go google e.e. cummings, read some of his work, and then go complain to his estate about how he “couldn’t” capitalize. i’m sure they’ll enjoy hearing from you.

   and for the record, i don’t particularly like obama and i didn’t vote for him (and won’t if he runs for reelection). he’s already done some horrible, bush-like things (bombing pakistan, trying to expand the state secrets privilege, protecting torturers, funneling billions to the banking industry), but NONE of those things make him a socialist— in fact, they’re all right-wing, pro-fascist actions.

   but he has done some good, encouraging things too, like ending torture as an official government policy, creating a sensible and fair budget, and promising to close that disgusting dungeon guantanamo. and he’s a minority, and i do like what that says about america for having cast so many votes for him. so overall he’s much better than that senile moron mccain would have been, and i’d definitely MUCH rather have obama as president than ANY member of the repugnant republicans.

   but hey man, looking at all my comments in this thread, that’s 1,035 words and only ONE typo, so i still totally beat the shit out of anonymous, who made a laughable six spelling errors and SIXTEEN punctuation errors in only 54 words (that’s an error every two and a half words), not to mention his woeful sentence construction.

NO ONE could really be that dumb, so the only rational conclusion is that you must be joking.

    and there are actually several clues that give you away. for example: you forgot to misspell “irresponsible,” “subsidize,” and “education.” i mean, really— you make grade school errors like using “to” instead of “too” and “a” instead of “an,” you punctuate like a preschooler, you confuse “dye” and “die,” and you type like you’ve got mittens on (i’m going to be generous and assume that “rther,” “doolar,” “laxy,” “asss,” and “liscense” were all typos rather than spelling errors, although that last one is doubtful)… yet we’re supposed to believe you can correctly spell a five-syllable latinate like “irresponsible”..?? sorry, i’m not buying it. you’re clearly an imposter. the original anonymous is such a blithering idiot that he doesn’t even know what that word means, much less how to spell it.

    and there’s another clue that indicates you’re joking, and it’s the most obvious of all: you say you’re a nuclear operator in illinois? and in which city in illinois would you happen to work? perhaps… i don’t know, maybe… SPRINGFIELD? is that right? are you saying you’re a nuclear operator in SPRINGFIELD?
