don’t be a tool, C. my not capitalizing sentences in no way detracts from someone’s ability to comprehend my meaning. anonymous’s failure to use standard punctuation and construction, however, DOES detract substantially from his comment’s legibility— i had to read it several times before i realized what the hell he was trying to say. and i used to teach 9th grade english, so i’m very well-versed in the art of deciphering incomprehensible gibberish. for anonymous to give ME pause, with all the awful writing i’ve been able to slog through over the years, says a great deal about how incoherent his comment is.
